Dr. Dina Imam Supaat

Dr. Dina Imam Supaat graduated from the Birmingham Law School, University of Birmingham, UK. She is presently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM), Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. She holds a degree in Law and a Master in Laws from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Over the years, she has taught International Human Rights Law, Constitutional Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Comparative Constitutional and Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Comparative Family Law, Islamic Family Law and Negotiation Skill and Sulh. Her area of interests includes legal education,  judicial review of administrative action, legitimate expectation in relation to ratified international treaties, customary norms in international refugee law, enforcement of Syariah Court orders, consumer issues, violence and gender based violence against women and children and the rehabilitation, legal issues in family conflict, the need for a commissioner for children and the right and legal status of refugee children and immigrant. Dina was once the Deputy Dean and Head of Programme at the faculty and responsible for staff, student and programme development.
